The Solti Foundation, established in 1998 by the family of the conductor Sir Georg Solti, aims to provide support for young musicians and singers at the start of their professional careers.
Grants are awarded through our partnerships with established orchestras, masterclasses and other international organisations whose programmes for young musicians closely reflect our goals. These include:
- The Royal Scottish National Orchestra
- Southbank Sinfonia
- The Budapest Festival Orchestra
- IMS Prussia Cove
- The Leeds International Piano Competition
The Solti family remains actively involved in our day-to-day work, which is overseen by an international Board of Trustees.
